Re: Drinking and Driving (NSR)

I was not allowed to board a plane last year on my way to a funeral. I had drank 2 big double bottles of red wine. I woke up on the Skycap trolly and had to catch the next flight out. I missed the Funeral. A real pieceofshit I was. A month later when I got home from the mainland, I went down to the boat yard and drank about 4-5 beers. On the way home I got followed by a cop for about 8 miles. How would it have been to get a DUI? First I got kicked off a plane then a DUI. Fcuk I was dissapointed in myself. I have barely drank in over a year.

Half a bottle of Champagne in July. Beers on Thanksgiving. Wine on Christmas Day. Beers on Superbowl. Beers about a month ago for a Pirate gathering.

Im glad I quit the "Habit" of drinking. Thats all it was really. A bad habit. I feel great!! A very close friend developed internal bleeding recently from drinking Budweiser for decades and lots of it. Second time Budweiser has almost killed a friend from causing ulcers. I had been telling him for years to "Drink better beers, you will drink less!"

Im not an extremist, and dont condem drinking and I will have a drink on occasion. Im just glad I kicked the daily habit. Im so much better than you.
