FCS MR TFX with a Thruster

Hi guys,
I really loved the FCS GS Glass Flex trailer fin for loosening up my board on really small days. I've lost it (or it was stolen) and I want to get a new one.
FCS no longer sells the glass flex trailer fin as a single fin but it is available on some online stores (USD $15).
I was thinking to get the trailer fin in PC instead of GF this time as I am now riding AM2 PCs.
It seems the only way to get it in PC is to buy a set of FCS MR TFX (USD $90)...smart move FCS...now I have to give you 75 more bucks when I just want the PC trailer fin)
Pisses me off to think I would have to pay $90 just to get the MR PC trailer fin and then have the side fins catching dust at home..
So what I want your opinion on is this..These fins are designed for twins and fishes. Can I use the FCS MR TFX fin set in a standard thruster? Maybe popping in the large side fins on really small, crappy days.
Thanks for your input!
