If the God you posit isn't omniscient and omnipotent then why a "God" at all?
And approaching this God through "reason", when what is required is "faith".......
You want a why without a first cause......The bigger question: why do humans seek a "why" at all?
Or "truth"......
Why not lies. Lies are better fodder for most anyway.

God can be a source of many of the things that we care most about: love, courage, hope, beauty. None of these come into existence in the manner of a physical cause. Physical cause would be the lowest form of explanation, and yet we are so focused on causality because we assume that the physical is the real. Then we assume that God, if he exists, must have as his primary function being the causal principle of the universe (first cause), i.e., the ground of the physical reality. This is to reduce God to a link in the chain of our explanations.

For important arguments against God as (primarily) first cause, see Meister Eckhart, or more recently Jean Luc Marion.

God may well be all of the "omnis", but he's a lot more than that, as these thinkers above have argued persuasively and at length.

Emotions can be explained perfectly by neurological science and evolutionary reasoning.

We assume the physical is "the real" because if you don't define what's physically real as "real" what do you even mean by real? If you just start calling everything whatever you want and putting words in any order you want why reason at all? Why not start dancing around with our underwear on our taste and singing orange to the magical parrots swimming in the mayonnaise roof above our castle carpet so that cereal falls from the sock?

Real is what's really there. It has a physical form. It has an effect on other physical forms. What exists doesn't need a reason to exist beyond that it clearly does so and if it didn't there wouldn't be an it to not exist.
