BTW, Bali is pretty crowded and touristy, if you get there and aren't into it head to Lombok apart from deserts, good intermediate waves, or at least do a trip over to Nusa Lembongan not what it use to be but good first step for real taste of indo, tropical islands with fun offshore reefs.

I am pushing gf to accept it as summer travel. The point is: she doesnt surf, but she'd love to enjoy relax time on beautiful beaches. Which is the best thing to accommodate both needs, surfing for me AND great holiday (relax+historic/natural tours) for her? thanks
