Stink- you are talking about the shot of Sam Zuegner that was run as a double-page center spread in Surfer a few years back.
There was also a B/W of Chris Kretzer that ran in the Sufer's Journal a few years back of him on a frickin' beast of a wave. Probably approaching TOH on him, shallow, middle-of-winter shot. If I can dig that up I'll post it, but I do recall it was very difficult to find it online last time I unearthed it.
