Soul Performance on Artesia has a pretty big used rack.
The owner, Mark, will take good care of you.
Honestly, most of the local shops have been keeping their used racks as empty as possible.
J_P caught the gaids and doesn't surf anymore because it causes uneven tanning...you could probably buy that same board off him...
You know what, I emailed him at his old email address (@mac.net) and it got sent back with an error, like his email addy was no longer valid. So I came on here and sent him a PM but I haven't heard back. I proposed buying the board, because I would love to own that thing. I don't know if you keep in contact with him, maybe you could do me a favor and tell him to check his PMs....?
Thanks, I'll check out Soul Performance. I'll try to give a call sometime this weekend to see what they have in stock.

Well if your willing to drive...
Longboard grotto in Leucadia has all sorts of fish, last time I checked they had a few clyde beatty saucers too
if your down there, I had good luck with "Real Surf shop" in oceanside, less like a museum than most of the shops in SD that carry used boards.
Some of the crap that shops try to peddle down there is comedy
I'm willing to drive, but Oceanside may be a little too far. We plan on driving down to SD for a day, but that won't be til the middle of the week and I sure as hell can't wait that long. I might have to check out that shop anyway when I'm down there just to gander.
Yeah, I'm worried that I'm going to get there and be really underwhelmed with my selection. I just don't want to impulse buy because I'm anxious to get wet. Not to sound like a predator, but I figured that since times are tough some stores might be struggling and really trying to push used stock out the door. I figure $250-275 is a good hunk of cash towards a used fish...
Thanks for the help guys.
